Corn Rice, Alternative Business Culinary Traditional Food
Maize (Zea mays) is one of the cereals as well as strategic and economic value have the opportunity to be developed due to its position as the main source of carbohydrates and protein after rice (Purwanto, 2006). Diversification of staple foods with corn as an alternative to rice, to be followed by the design of processing corn to increase consumer acceptance. Had the processed products may include some aspects of the above is a rice corn. Corn rice has long been known by the people but because the process of preparation of the forms of corn pipil until rice is long, including repeated pulverization and drying processes, hence its acceptance as a staple food rice is lower than usual.
